WHAT IS HEMP?

Hemp is a cannabis plant that is harvested commercially for its seeds and stalks, which are used to produce a number of products:

• Nutritional supplements

• Medicine

• Body care products

• Paper

• Textiles

• Building materials

• Plastic composites

• Biofuels

For cannabis to be considered hemp, it must contain no more than 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) per dry weight. THC is the active compound in marijuana that causes its euphoric effect.

Unlike marijuana, hemp is naturally higher in cannabidiol (CBD), one of over 100 cannabinoids that have so far been identified in the cannabis plant. CBD is completely non-psychoactive and therefore won’t cause a high, making it safe for use by anyone, regardless of age.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT HEMP

Medical Marijuana, Inc. tested over 3000 cultivars (varieties) of hemp before settling on the one that would thrive on the Northern European farms on which we grow our crops, producing the optimal ratio of CBD for use in our hemp oil products.

All of the hemp plants used in the creation of our CBD oil products are non-GMO, meaning they haven’t been genetically modified in any way. Medical Marijuana, Inc. focuses on harnessing the all-natural benefits of CBD, and that means using all-natural hemp in the creation of all our products.

Unlike domestic hemp growers, who only have a few years of experience growing hemp seeds bred to thrive in the climates and soils of other countries, cultivators in Europe have been growing hemp for generations, and countries in the EU are renowned producers of hemp for the world. Countries like the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, and France rank among some of the largest hemp producers in the world.

Medical Marijuana, Inc. takes our passion for quality a step further than other hemp oil companies by putting our products through a Triple Lab Tested™ process that checks our oil from start to finish for contaminants like mold, mildew, fungus, yeast, E.coli, Salmonella, Mycotoxins, and heavy metals.

Our safety tested process also helps maintain consistency in the potency (cannabinoid concentration) of our products. Our labs test for level of CBD, CBDa, THC, and over a half dozen other cannabinoids. This consistency means you are getting the right levels of CBD every serving, every time.

We thoroughly test our hemp and its derived hemp oil to ensure the optimal safety and consistency of our products. Our hemp is tested twice before we even begin to manufacture our products, once after harvest and again after we import it into the U.S. Even though all steps are taken to ensure our products are pure and contain no contaminants, we test our products a third time after manufacturing before we allow them to leave our warehouse for your front door.
